 Sourcing and ordering samples of paving, decking, cladding, container finishes, lighting fixture finishes etc 

As part of this process I can advise on the pros and cons of each and what might be most suitable for its particular application as well as aesthetic 

• Engaging with and coordinating initial site meetings with contractors
• I have good connections with landscape gardeners in the area which gives my clients the piece of mind to know that the quality of work is to a certain standard and that my communication with them is established 
• Supplying design documents to each contractor and having them printed to scale if necessary 
• Meeting with each contractor on site to communicate the design and answer any questions about the site itself or the design 
• Informing contractors of specific materials to be used and how 
• Answering any questions regarding what is to be included in the scope of work so that each quote is comparable 
• Collating quotes and feeding back to client so that a decision can be made. 
• Offering any advice on which contractor to use if required 

• Meeting with electricians to discuss lighting plan, new electrical outputs and wattage required to create the desired effect 
• Meeting with joiners to discuss and nail down specifics of bespoke pieces such as an oak pergola or gazebo 

• Sourcing materials, furniture and accessories 
• Placing orders of all elements utilising relationships with suppliers and trade discounts 
• Coordinating delivery to coincide with the build schedule such as: 

1. Hard landscaping materials and aggregates to be delivered in conjunction with the start of the build 
2. Plants to be delivered towards the end of the build to minimise the risk of damage and alleviate any watering required whilst they are in their nursery cans 
3. Managing delivery of any other elements in a timely manor e.g. planters, sculptures, water features, furniture etc. 

Before landscapers plant I will visit site to place plants as per my plan and ensure that everything is being planted in order to create my vision
